Play Time
Wolfgang Zurborn
The image worlds of a leisure and media culture, spread by film, television and the Internet on monitors, screens, in magazines, on posters and building facades, are so omnipresent that they can no longer be seen separately from real life. Contemporary man finds himself in a Play Time in which the boundaries between fiction and reality are blurred. With his photographs, Wolfgang Zurborn takes the viewer into an idiosyncratic, strange world of images in which scenes and objects of everyday life seem to be out of kilter.
