Prize of the President of the UdK Berlin for Master Students of Fine Arts 2021
In cooperation with the Berlin University of the Arts the Haus am Kleistpark isproud to present the work of this year’s prize-winners Laura Katzauer, GuiseltThaiz, and Steven Thelen. Come and discover promising young positions in thefields of installation, conceptual art, and performance. Laura Katzauer's multimedia practice explores the social dimensions of time and historicity on various levels. Guiselt Thaiz herself sees the starting point of her cross-media installations in the necessity of imagination and freedom in times of global crises and increasing digitalisation. The installation works by Steven Thelen, which were created in collaboration with Maria Jooyoung, represent a continuous exploration of the conceptual field of habitat.
