Myriam El Haïk
Myriam El Haïk, whose work was last successfully shown at KW during the Berlin Biennale, explores the topos of landscape in this exhibition. The artist approaches the subject not through concrete geographical parameters, but through the sensations that a landscape evokes in her. The emotional space designed in this way in drawings and paintings is also reminiscent of the patterns of carpets, which to the artist symbolize landscapes both experienced and to be re-experienced. Her paintings are supported by her musical compositions in the exhibition.
